BTA KICKOFF

Participants will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, learn what the club is all about, and engage in an interactive Q&A panel with three leading industry professionals.

This event will highlight the spectrum of careers that are offered in the business technology field and provide access to new connections.

Participants will also be introduced to the wide variety of exclusive events hosted by the club that will be taking place throughout the year.

EXCEL WORKSHOP

Stack's visual style is simple yet distinct, making it an ideal starting point for your project whether it be a basic marketing site, or multi-page company presence.

The BTA excel workshop is the perfect way to learn key excel skills which are used by business analysts on a daily basis, such as lookup functions, model formulation, and solving logic problems. This workshop will allow students to acquire skills that will not only help them in their coursework, but also in the workplace.

The workshop will commence with a lesson by a Schulich professor, followed by a small interactive competition organized by the BTA team. Finally, attendees will have the chance to join breakout rooms where they can resolve any technical issues, ask excel related queries and receive feedback on their work.

BTA X BOLT CASE COMP

In this exciting and never-before seen case comp, BTA will be partnering with McGill's own technology club - BOLT.

BOLT specializes in creating bootcamps, wherein students integrate technology with business to develop products and management solutions. BOLT X BTA is a case competition like no other - offering the resources of McGill's bootcamps, alongside BTA's event expertise.

During this multi-day event, attend workshops and gain unique applicable tech skills with experienced industry leaders, network with big tech reps, and compete against other teams to create innovative tech solutions for modern problems. This is THE case comp for ambitious, resourceful students looking to make it big in business-tech.
