Mission
AMMC aims to complement academic study with exposure to the world of arts and media, as well as the opportunity to network within it. The club aims to foster relationships between Schulich students, other (arts) faculties at York, and the wider arts and media community. Our goals are pursued through the facilitation of industry-relevant panel discussions, awareness events, networking events, and the organization of social activities such as outings to concerts, performances and exhibitions.

For one $15 annual payment, members will receive: opportunities for alumni & industry networking; news on various current events that are happening in the creative industry around the Greater Toronto Area; and priority access to special priced tickets and industry events when possible.

Mission
Our objective is to facilitate a coalition of students that identify as members of the black community or as allies of the Black community in order to:
1. Showcase Schulich's diversity to attract top talents to the school, making it a leader in issues of diversity and inclusion
2. Assist partner firms increase the diversity in their talent pipeline by hosting networking events and connecting members of the club to professionals within these organizations
3. Hosting various events to help members bolster the knowledge, skills, and experiences required to succeed in securing impactful roles
4. Provide a safe space, both physical and emotional, to creatively explore our identities and connections with places and cultures we identify with
5. Promote the creative expression of the experiences of members of the black community and allies in the Diaspora.

As a club that is bound by our loyalty to feminist values, a love for creative expression, and a commitment to increase diversity and inclusion within Canadian society we decided to form a collective that operates from an inclusive, anti-oppression (anti-colonial, anti-racist, accessible, queer-positive, gender-aware and anti-discriminatory) framework.

LABA is a strong community of professionals with interest in doing business in Latin America. Members will have access to this growing community at Schulich and beyond.

Throughout the 2022/23 academic year, we will have several industry-focused panels in which members will have the opportunity to learn and discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in key industries with executives, alumni and colleagues. The Schulich Advanced Strategy Club is the premier student-run club for those interested in pursuing a career in Consulting or Strategy. It provides its members with the ability to apply conventional theories in real-world settings, harbouring critical thinking. Mission
Leadership, organizational development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, change management, and artful negotiation are some of the important competencies expected of MBA students and business leaders. SAMOS (Schulich Association of Management and Organization Studies) is the graduate club designed to nurture these skills by engaging with fellow students and alumni from diverse backgrounds. SAMOS brings relevant and contemporary information of industry trends to its club members and creates opportunities for students to network with peers, alumni, and professionals working in industry.

Managed by a strong and diverse team, SAMOS executed three events in the Fall semester and has an exciting line up of more events over the Winter term (see our LinkedIn page for details on past events).
