HCBF is hosting a one-hour speaker event designed to inspire students interested in shaping the future of healthcare through innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic leadership. Open to all Schulich students, this session will explore how ideas move from science to strategy, and ultimately to real-world impact.

The event features Aditya Pai, Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at MedGenome. With a career spanning genomics, precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and healthcare consulting, Aditya brings a rare blend of clinical, technical, and business expertise.

Joining him is Saeid Babaei, a seasoned academic and industry leader with over 20 years of experience bringing novel healthcare technologies toward commercialization. Dr. Babaei has led first-in-class product opportunities, closed more than 15 licensing and strategic partnerships, and raised over $50 million in equity and debt financing.

Both speakers are YorkU alumni and will offer practical insights into healthcare entrepreneurship, innovation pathways, and career opportunities across biotech, pharma, and health systems.
