Mission Our objective is to facilitate a coalition of students that identify as members of the black community or as allies of the Black community in order to:1. Showcase Schulich's diversity to attract top talents to the school, making it a leader in issues of diversity and inclusion2. Assist partner firms increase the diversity in their talent pipeline by hosting networking events and connecting members of the club to professionals within these organizations3. Hosting various events to help members bolster the knowledge, skills, and experiences required to succeed in securing impactful roles4. Provide a safe space, both physical and emotional, to creatively explore our identities and connections with places and cultures we identify with 5. Promote the creative expression of the experiences of members of the black community and allies in the Diaspora.As a club that is bound by our loyalty to feminist values, a love for creative expression, and a commitment to increase diversity and inclusion within Canadian society we decided to form a collective that operates from an inclusive, anti-oppression (anti-colonial, anti-racist, accessible, queer-positive, gender-aware and anti-discriminatory) framework.
